Did you know climate change is now so serious a threat to the environment that scientists are considering putting a big sunshade in place to keep us cool? Or boosting the ocean's plankton populations to absorb carbon dioxide? Five Ways to Save the World shows us that the natural world is being transformed by global warming faster than anyone anticipated: Frozen tundra is melting, giant icecaps are breaking, sea levels are rising and weather patterns are changing.
