AmericanRhetoric.com contains copyrighted materials (text, audio, video, digital images) the use of which in many cases has not been specifically authorized by the copyright owner. These materials include all of the artifacts in the "Movie Speeches" site area as well as artifacts in the "Top 100 Speeches" and "Speech Bank" site areas. However, a number of rhetorical artifacts on this site are in the public domain and may be used freely. Still other artifacts are copyrighted by AmericanRhetoric.com. The latter includes the vast majority of materials in the "Rhetorical Figures in Sound" site area, and, text (html) transcriptions of audio artifacts already in the public domain
